Through relentless innovation and discovery, Samsung is transforming the way we communicate and interact with the world.<\/div>\n<div>Responsibilities<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The XR Unity Software Development Intern will be contributing to software development, supporting design research, and application prototyping of Virtual and Augmented applications using Unity.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>Skills and attributes:<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Experience with C#\/Unity application development<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Ability to clearly communicate complex technical ideas<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Working towards a degree in Computer Science or equivalent<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>Other\/Optional skills:<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Successfully built an AR\/VR application for either Oculus, GearVR, Magic Leap, Microsoft Mixed Reality, Vive VR, Google Cardboard, or similar<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Experience in one or more of the following (Unreal, Android\/Java, WebVR, or similar)<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Experience with 3D modeling software<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Experience developing games<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Familiar with Git<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Course work or equivalent in human factors and\/or user interface design<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Understanding of best practices in 3D application development<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>Work Submissions:<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>All candidates must submit a portfolio of source code (Github or equivalent is fine), demo application, or video documentation.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Submissions can be sent to Chris Kairalla &#8211;\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:c.kairalla@samsung.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">c.kairalla@samsung.com<\/a><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>XR Unity Software Development Intern (Paid summer internship) Summary: Samsung Electronics is a global leader in mobile and digital media technologies.
