\nSummary:
\nDexcom\u2019s Product Design Team is seeking a talented intern in the areas of User Experience Design (User Experience and User Interface Design). The ideal candidate is one who shares our passion for exploring and creating world-class user experiences.
\nThe User Experience Design Intern will work closely with our product design team to learn the existing products and assist with documentation and design of process flowcharts, user interfaces, and interactive prototypes for various web, mobile, and physical products. Candidate must be proficient in documenting design intent and well-organized. It is beneficial the candidate have familiarity with iOS, Android mobile and wearable devices and familiarity with Android, Google, and iOS UX & UI guidelines.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities:<\/strong> Qualifications<\/strong>: Must be able to communicate effectively in English. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. \n\u25cf Must have good communication skills to discuss tradeoffs between design options
\n\u25cf Actively seeks discussions for design direction when direction is not obvious
\n\u25cf Ability to work in a structured corporate environment
\n\u25cf Education or experience in user-centered design techniques
\n\u25cf Open to learning to technology, practices, and software
\n\u25cf Ideally has experience in using an interactive screenflow prototype tool and working with
\nlogic and variables
\nEducation Requirements:
\n\u25cf Candidate can be currently in school pursuing a bachelor’s degree or greater in user
\nexperience, visual design, human-computer interaction, cognitive science, design, or in
\nrelated field.
\n\u25cf Candidate can also have a bachelor’s degree or greater in visual design,
\nhuman-computer interaction, cognitive science, design, or in related field.
