In your position, you make magic by thinking of ideas that are not only interesting and user-friendly, but are feasible. You\u2019re an open-minded creative thinker during concepting, a self-starter when you jump into prototyping and\/or designing and a collaborator during production. As part of a fledgling group of creative coders and designers, you\u2019re on the front line of pushing the envelope of how to combine technology and creative execution for our clients.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Your work and interests span across as many mediums as there are to make interesting things: web apps, VR, AR, mobile apps, UX, UI, experiential and\/or any emerging technology. You intelligently combine technical and creative worlds without using technology just for the sake of technology. Most importantly, you have a genuine passion for it all and love to work with others on it.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Job Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Be the bridge between creative ideas and execution.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Collaborate closely with technical and non-technical people.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Think innovatively;be on top of what\u2019s new, interesting and help lift creative work.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Prototype, prototype, prototype.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Solid coding skills.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Package and present technical thinking in an approachable way to be better sold to our clients.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Job Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">A diverse and creative portfolio.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">BA\/BFA or equivalent in Computer Science, Design, Media Arts preferred, however we\u2019re open to alternatives (i.e. different studies, just work experience) as long as you show you\u2019re qualified.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Self-motivated and willing to learn new things.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">One or more of the following hard skills:<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Strong knowledge of prototyping-related software (Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Principle, Origami Studio, InVision or Framer)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Hardware prototyping<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Front-end development (HTML\/CSS\/JS frameworks)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Back-end development<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Native code (iOS, Android, etc.)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">3-D software (Unity, Blender, etc.)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong class=\"gmail_sendername\" dir=\"auto\">Brian Moore<\/strong>\u00a0<span dir=\"ltr\">&lt;<a href=\"mailto:bmoore@droga5.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">bmoore@droga5.com<\/a>&gt;<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As a Creative Technologist at Droga5, you bridge the best of both worlds: creative concepting and digital execution.
