Available digital communication technologies include bulk email services, social media, mobile applications, and the web, especially using NYU\u2019s enterprise Content Management System (CMS).
\nNYU\u2019s Digital Communications Group (DigiComm) is looking for a UX Design Production
\nAssistant.<\/p>\n
\n\u25cf Work with the full-time designers to design and maintain the University\u2019s core Web
\nproperties and standards across web, email, and mobile
\n\u25cf Make edits to existing Creative Cloud design files and prepare them for development
\nand client hand-off.
\n\u25cf Source photos from NYU\u2019s photography library and external stock photography sites
\n\u25cf Design spot graphics and email templates
\n\u25cf Create graphics for the NYU Mobile app
\n\u25cf Work in the NYU.edu CMS to update content
\n\u25cf Assist with UX (user experience) related tasks:
\n\u25cb Wireframe and Prototype design
\n\u25cb UI design
\n\u25cb User testing
\n\u25cb Administrative work for NYU\u2019s UX Community of Practice<\/p>\n
\n\u25cf Prefer a Bachelor\u2019s degree or equivalent experience in a design or
\ncommunications-related field
\n\u25cf 2 years of design school or 1 year of professional design experience
\n\u25cf An eye for the nuance and subtlety of design
\n\u25cf Familiarity with Sketch. InVision, and Adobe\u2019s Creative Cloud<\/p>\n
\n\u25cf Basic understanding of UI\/UX principles
\n\u25cf Attention to detail
\n\u25cf Strong communication and organization skills<\/p>\n
