The DLA will work with faculty and students to design and implement<br \/>\npedagogically-driven projects using digital platforms, tools, and resources in order to<br \/>\nfacilitate collaborative, experiential, and active learning. The DLA will also assist in<br \/>\nconstructing and maintaining digital learning resources for Gallatin, and help organize<br \/>\nand lead workshops promoting digital teaching practices.<br \/>\nApplicants should be interested in integrating technology and pedagogy for the benefit of<br \/>\nstudents and faculty, both inside and outside of the classroom. Students with teaching<br \/>\nexperience are especially encouraged to apply. Gallatin Digital Learning Assistants will<\/p>\n<p>have the opportunity to work closely with some of Gallatin\u2019s faculty, staff and students,<br \/>\nand to receive extensive training and experience in a highly marketable skill set.<br \/>\n***PLEASE NOTE: Candidates must address the specific job description outlined here;<br \/>\ncanned cover letters will not be considered.<br \/>\nThe Gallatin Digital Learning Assistant will be paid $20.00\/hour. In addition, each<br \/>\nassistant will receive a laptop, on loan, for the duration of their employment. It is<br \/>\nexpected that DLAs will work 15 hours per week, for a total of 450 per annual<br \/>\nappointment (225 hours per semester).
