Sebastian ErraZuriz Studio<\/strong><\/p>\n Sebastian Errazuriz is a prolific artist and designer. Tackling everything from giant public art projects, conceptual sculptures to experimental furniture and product design, his work is always surprising and compelling, inviting the viewer to look again at realities that were often hidden in front of their own eyes. Blurring the boundaries between contemporary art, design, craft and technology, his exclusive masterpieces are exhibited and collected internationally. Internship<\/strong><\/p>\n We develop a large range of projects from large public space projects to conceptual artwork product design, high-end limited edition furniture to interior design, tech projects for institutions, museums, private clients and brands. The studio is constantly working on several self-commissioned pieces or projects for museums, fairs and collaborations with established brands for special projects. \nWe are also developing a series of technology based projects including public art installations, mobile applications, augmented reality, virtual reality works etc. Interns participate to the process from research, fabrication, documentation and production of works to communication materials. The studio is based Industry City, Brooklyn, NY. All works and projects are developed and produced at our studio between the wood workshop, creative studio, tech lab, prototyping area and photo\/video area.
\nInternship is unpaid, interns must be able to fund their stay.
\nInterns work 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.<\/p>\n
\nApplicants must be organized, detail-oriented, reliable and motivated. Useful skills:
\n. Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator)
\n. 3d Modeling \/ Rendering (3ds Max\/Rhino etc.)
\n. Basic photo \/ video knowledge (shooting \/ editing etc.)
\n. Carpentry \/ woodworking
\n. Prototyping (using mainly 3d printers)
\n. Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies, platforms, and languages
\n. Front-end \/ Back-end experience
\n. Arduino \/ Raspberry Pi
\n. 3d printing and relevant software
\n. HTML \/ CSS \/ JavaScript
\n. Git<\/p>\n
