User\/market research, product development documentation, concept visual, models, and applications. Activity. Extra fee required. (Plus-minus letter grade only)&nbsp;Mo We &nbsp;1:00 PM &#8211; 3:45 PM Hybrid (Most sessions online, some sessions in the Design Shops)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>DES 460 [01 ] &#8211; Rapid Prototyping and Manufacturing Systems<\/strong><strong>Description<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prerequisites:\u00a0Restricted to upper-division Design majors; DES 300*, DES 305*, DES 310 (Product Design 1)*, DES 321*(Solid Modeling SolidWorks), and DES 420 (Rapid Visualization); or graduate Design students; or consent of the instructor. Design applications for Rapid Prototyping and Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) systems; Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP), integration methodologies and flexible manufacturing systems.
