Our client is a well-known, global 2-sided marketplace that helps millions of artisans and crafters sell their creations online to nearly 42MM shoppers around the world. They are seeking a fulltime Director of UX\/Product Design, who has incredible A\/B testing experience with large, strategic initiatives<\/strong>, to own the Buyer experience from soup to nuts. This is an extremely high-visibility role in the company, as this team is responsible for over 50% of the company\u2019s revenue, so someone who can drive innovation and bring their big vision to how to grow and transform this Buyer team is mission-critical. You’ll oversee a 15 person team, including 3 managers, and they’re looking for a metrics-oriented, empathic, down to earth leader who can create strong partnerships with Product, Dev, Research and Analytics. You’ll also have access to the CPO + CEO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Company<\/strong>: A famous 2-sided marketplace in the bespoke, handmade goods category (we like to think of it as “Commerce with a conscience”)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Location<\/strong>: SF or NYC<\/p>\n\n\n\n

International candidates OK?<\/strong>: Must be authorized to work in the USA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remote OK?<\/strong>: For now, yes, but eventually must be based in SF or NYC. Some flexible WFH allowances can be made, but it can’t be 100% remote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Salary\/budget<\/strong>: Depends on experience – is a base salary, bonus, and a hefty RSU package, which is great because their stock is doing\u00a0amazingly<\/strong>\u00a0well right now, and your work at the leadership level has a direct impact into its end value.
