Our work appears on smart phones, tablets, computers, televisions, wearables and other devices we can\u2019t describe yet. We are looking for a talented designer to join our group and bring new energy to our process. You should be ready to help at all stages of product design, from identifying unmet and latent needs, discovering new design opportunities, designing new product concepts to applying technology creatively to solve real user problems and create radically new experiences that re-imagine the way we interact with products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are interested in passionate and self-motivated individuals who are comfortable in a highly fluid environment. You will bring drive, smarts, and curiosity; we will provide the environment for you to thrive and grow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><strong>Core Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Project Leadership<\/li><li>Strong demonstrable experience in User Experience\/ Interaction Design\/ Product Design<\/li><li>User-centric research driven mindset for design and discovery<\/li><li>Ability to think and act strategically and proactively<\/li><li>Dedicated and strong attention to detail<\/li><li>Strong time management skills<\/li><li>Resource and project management skills<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Essential Functions:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Conceptualize, visualize and develop ideas for products and take them from germinal to shippable<\/li><li>Wireframing, conceptualizing, rapid prototyping, user-testing, interaction design and visual design<\/li><li>Work on products and features in close collaboration with other Designers and Engineers<\/li><li>Creating experiences that successfully accomplish appropriately set goals<\/li><li>Crafting ideas that turn complex and confusing into simple and understandable<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Education Required:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in related field, Master\u2019s degree preferred<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Years of Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5~10 years in user experience design<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Skills Required:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Design hypothesis development, prototyping &amp; testing<\/li><li>Pitching &amp; presenting ideas to stakeholders<\/li><li>Making UX, UI guideline enough to communicate with stakeholders<\/li><li>Sketching and visualizing new ideas and user scenarios<\/li><li>Documentation creation: Scenarios, Wireframes, Visual Design, low and high-fidelity mockups and prototypes<\/li><li>Clear, concise and transparent communication style<\/li><li>Action-oriented, diligent and flexible<\/li><li>A clear understanding of design-centered processes and proven methodologies for identifying and solving problems<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Travel:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>International and Domestic travel maybe required at a later stage<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Samsung is an EEO\/Veterans\/Disabled\/LGBT employer.
