You know us best, and we believe you know the folks who will help us do our work.<\/p>\n<p>The Operations Manager will be a full-time (roughly 30 hours\/week), remote position that serves as an integral member of the Kinetic Light team. They will be responsible for company-wide project management, budget creation and management, stabilizing internal administrative systems, and liaising with and supporting our Development, Marketing and Finance contractors. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is an experienced arts or nonprofit administrator with a passion for the intersection of race, gender, disability, technology and dance. A successful applicant will have strong experience in an administrative or operational role at an arts or nonprofit organization, be an efficient multi-tasker, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. The Operations Manager will be an integral part of the Kinetic Light team who is primarily<\/p>\n<p>responsible for company-wide project management, oversight of select program and administrative<\/p>\n<p>staff, and liaising with and supporting our Development, Marketing and Finance contractors. This<\/p>\n<p>position is a full time (~30 hrs\/week), remote position.<\/p>\n<p>Functions &amp; Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>\u25cf Provide efficient and confident company-wide project management and administrative<\/p>\n<p>functionality, including developing, implementing and maintaining operational systems, and<\/p>\n<p>leading a schedule of recurring external and internal cadence meetings;<\/p>\n<p>\u25cf Onboard new staff, and manage select program and administrative staff;<\/p>\n<p>\u25cf Liaise with KL\u2019s accounting team to ensure proper and regular tracking of income, expenses,<\/p>\n<p>receivables, invoices, and grant payments;<\/p>\n<p>\u25cf Coordinate annual budget planning with leadership team;<\/p>\n<p>\u25cf Support budget reconciliation between development and finance departments;<\/p>\n<p>\u25cf Maintain a grant deadline calendar of prospective and current funders in collaboration with<\/p>\n<p>grant writer;<\/p>\n<p>\u25cf Assist in coordinating and preparing grant materials with grant writer and other appropriate<\/p>\n<p>staff members;<\/p>\n<p>\u25cf Lead all grant reporting and funder\/donor acknowledgements;<\/p>\n<p>\u25cf Collaborate with Marketing\/PR consultant to develop and execute marketing, communications,<\/p>\n<p>print and digital strategies (including the website and social media);<\/p>\n<p>\u25cf As part of a small staff, there will be other duties as deemed necessary.<\/p>\n<p>Requirements<\/p>\n<p>A successful applicant will have held one or more positions in an administrative or operational capacity<\/p>\n<p>at an arts organization. They will be an adept project manager, able to juggle multiple priorities and<\/p>\n<p>projects simultaneously, and an excellent written and verbal communicator. They will be able to work<\/p>\n<p>well independently without constant oversight, as well as lead team members to accomplish goals<\/p>\n<p>collaboratively. They will have facility with budgets, grant applications and reporting, and general<\/p>\n<p>marketing practices.
