Two Summer Opportunities for NYU Entrepreneurs<\/p>\n

This summer we are offering two opportunities for NYU students to pursue
\ntheir entrepreneurial journeys: the NYU Summer Startup Sprint
\n<https:\/\/entrepreneur.nyu.edu\/resource\/startup-sprint-student\/<\/a>>and NYU
\nSummer Launchpad <https:\/\/entrepreneur.nyu.edu\/resource\/summer-launchpad\/<\/a>>.
\nAlumni of these programs, including Pepper <https:\/\/www.wearpepper.com\/<\/a>>,
\nBrooklinen <https:\/\/www.brooklinen.com\/<\/a>>, Govern for America
\n<https:\/\/www.govern4america.org\/<\/a>>, dathic <https:\/\/dathic.com\/<\/a>>, The
\nDiversity Org <http:\/\/www.thediversity.org\/<\/a>>, and others, have gone on to
\nraise over $150M in investment and grants, be accepted into prominent
\naccelerators like Y-Combinator <https:\/\/www.ycombinator.com\/<\/a>> and TechStars
\nNYC <https:\/\/www.techstars.com\/accelerators\/new-york<\/a>>, and received student
\nloan alleviation grants through the NYU Female Founders Fellowship
\n<https:\/\/entrepreneur.nyu.edu\/resource\/nyu-female-founders-fellowship\/<\/a>>!

NYU Summer Startup Sprint
\n<https:\/\/entrepreneur.nyu.edu\/resource\/startup-sprint-student\/<\/a>><\/p>\n

Startup Sprints are two-week programs that teach and support aspiring NYU
\nentrepreneur teams to transform their ideas and inventions into businesses.
\nDuring the program, teams will work intensively with expert startup coaches
\nas they conduct rigorous customer discovery to refine their business
\nmodels. Teams will be provided with skills-building workshops, grant
\nfunding, peer support from their cohort of startup teams, legal guidance
\nfrom partner law firms and more!<\/p>\n

Goal: To deeply understand their customer’s needs and purchase behaviors,
\nand test the value of their potential solution<\/p>\n

Who it’s for: Current students and recent alumni (graduated in Fall ’20 or
\nafter) at any stage of development (but prefer beyond idea stage). Strong
\npreference for teams who have completed a NYU Startup Bootcamp
\n<https:\/\/entrepreneur.nyu.edu\/resource\/bootcamps\/<\/a>>.<\/p>\n

Program Dates: Tue, June 1 \u2013 Fri, June 11, 2021 (9 days)<\/p>\n

NYU Summer Launchpad
\n<https:\/\/entrepreneur.nyu.edu\/resource\/summer-launchpad\/<\/a>><\/p>\n

NYU Summer Launchpad (SLP) is an immersive 9-week accelerator for highly
\nscalable startups led by NYU students (including those graduating in ’20).
\nTeams receive one-on-one mentorship with 60+ investors and experienced
\nentrepreneurs who support the program, immersive customer development and
\nbusiness operations training, pro-bono legal and accounting services via
\nMcCarter & English and EisnerAmper, and $10,000 in non-dilutive funding,
\nall in a dynamic, community-minded atmosphere.<\/p>\n

Goal: To refine their business models, achieve product-market fit and fully
\nlaunch and scale their startups.<\/p>\n

Who it’s for: Students and recent alumni (graduated in Fall ’20 or after),
\nready to launch a highly scalable venture full time (can be non-profit or
\nfor profit ventures).<\/p>\n

Program Dates: Mon, June 14 \u2013 Fri, Aug 13, 2021 (9 weeks)<\/p>\n
