NYU ITP students, alumni, faculty & community members are invited to apply for The David Prize, an annual Open Call for New Yorkers with ideas for a better, brighter city. Each year 5 visionary New Yorkers win $200,000, no strings attached, to support their work & ideas. Share your idea at thedavidprize.org<\/a> — the deadline for 2021-22 submissions is December 21, 2021.<\/p>\n

The Prize is for individuals that would otherwise fly under the radar of traditional funding sources, are proximate to the challenges they’re out to solve and have a true need for unrestricted funding. They want to hear from people who have a big vision for a better New York, people who get things done but haven’t done it all–yet. Past winners and finalists are doctors, organizers, activists, entrepreneurs and beyond.<\/p>\n

Submissions are open now<\/b> at thedavidprize.org<\/a>, and nominations are open on a rolling basis.
