University of Michigan has a new undergraduate degree program in urban technology<\/a>, and they’ve launched an experimental fund to offer support to prototypes that in come way combine code and\/or hardware and city issues and needs.<\/div>\n

– $5k USD project funding (for supplies, living expenses, whatever you need)<\/div>\n
– Stipend to travel to U-M Ann Arbor campus to work, meet, present, etc.<\/div>\n
– Affiliation with U-M for a semester<\/div>\n
– Input and advice from Urban Planning and Architecture faculty on city challenges<\/div>\n
