User Experience Intern
\nThe Role
\nHi\u2014we\u2019re Digital Pulp. We are innovative problem solvers and smart storytellers who work with
\nbrands that do good. Our clients include national nonprofits, institutions of higher learning, and
\ntrailblazers in health sciences. We care about making a positive impact in the world, and we
\nbelieve our work is stronger when it really matters.
\nWe\u2019re looking for someone eager to explore user experience design inside and out. As a UX
\nintern, you will dive deep into complex, messy websites and learn to transform them into usable,
\npleasurable experiences anchored in strategic thinking but motivated by delight. You will help
\nidentify problems in structure, usability, and interface, and work closely with our strategists,
\ndesigners, and developers to solve them\u2014and breathe new life into outmoded systems as you
\ndo. Daily tasks include content audits, sitemap creation, and wireframe design.
\nWe believe in nurturing talent in-house. After a successful internship, the ideal candidate would
\nbe interested in and considered for a full-time position.
\nSince 2020, we have been a remote company, and this is a fully remote role.<\/p>\n

\n\u25cf Want to tell great, meaningful stories in design\u2014not just sell things with the fewest clicks
\n\u25cf Have a portfolio of strong UX thinking, strategy, and wireframe experience or coursework
\n\u25cf Are a collaborative, curious problem-solver
\n\u25cf As a plus, have proficiency with Sketch<\/p>\n
Us
\nFounded in 1996, Digital Pulp is a design and web development agency with a particular focus on
\nhigher learning, health, and nonprofits. Recent clients include the Make-A-Wish foundation,
\nPrinceton University, Barnard College, the Juilliard School, the University of Virginia, SightMatters
\nby Bausch + Lomb, and Hologic Breast Health.
