Interns are paid a quarterly stipend of $1,000 and receive hands-on training in their role at POWER. We are an extremely busy <\/strong>\u00a0non-profit and looking for interns with passion, drive, and the ability to learn in a fast-paced environment. Our interns are located throughout the world and comprised of many cultures and nationalities — that’s POWER! You will work remotely<\/strong>\u00a0using technologies such as Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft One-Drive, Microsoft Teams and Outlook. You must have steady access to the internet<\/strong>\u00a0as our we collaborate and share documents through a cloud environment and attend meetings online.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
As college interns, we work directly with your college or university to ensure, if eligible at your institution, you earn college credits as an intern. We complete all of the necessary paperwork and submit to your academic advisor. Your class schedules are no issue, as we are flexible and will work with you, we only ask that you “show up” and are consistent.<\/strong>\u00a0We also have many incentives such as GrubHub “lunch and learns”. Interns who show promise and stand out are offered full-time permanent roles<\/b>\u00a0at POWER. We offer a competitive starting salary and benefits.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n

POWER\u00ae was established in 2010 to directly address the needs of the community, deploying initiatives such as Project F.E.E.D.\u00ae (Friends Ensuring Every Dinner), Project Warmth\u00ae, and iLearn\u00ae under a 501(c)(3) sponsorship. On September 10, 2018, POWER\u00ae obtained its 501(c)(3) designation from the Internal Revenue Service. Thereafter POWER\u00ae expanded their scope of services to include a specific focus on aging, education, finance, food insecurity, health, housing wellness, and social justice and reform in low-income, minority, and underserved communities (LIMUs), adding programs The Justice League\u00ae, Senior Connect\u00ae, iAmArt\u00ae, iPlay\u00ae, and LavaLove\u00ae.<\/p>\n

As part of Operation Holiday\u00ae<\/b>, donors “adopt” families in need and help them to fill their wish lists, bringing them the hope and cheer that are essential to the season and making their holiday wishes come true<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n\n| The Newark Project\u00ae, <\/b>The Flint Project\u00ae<\/b><\/td>\n | The Newark Project\u00ae <\/b>and The Flint Project\u00ae <\/b>are relief programs providing critical services to low-income and minority students and their households located in Newark, NJ and Flint, MI in the areas of academics, housing, employment, and social services.
