Working in a highly collaborative manner,<br \/>\nthe Design Team works to define and evolve the look and feel of all Apple product art<br \/>\ndirection through experimentation, critical thinking, and extraordinary attention to detail.<br \/>\nThe Graphic Design Intern is an integral member of the team that helps to create<br \/>\ninnovative and compelling work from ideation to execution. In this role, you will become<br \/>\ninstrumental in developing work that inspires customers for one of the world&#8217;s most<br \/>\ncreatively influential brands.<br \/>\nWe work closely with designers to teach the everyday workings of a world-class internal<br \/>\ndesign studio. The Graphic Design Intern has the opportunity to work closely with all<br \/>\nmembers of the team\u2014designers, art directors, creative directors, and production artists<br \/>\n\u2014to gain a better understanding of the skills required to develop high-profile projects<br \/>\nthat meet the brand\u2019s rigorous design standards.<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities:<br \/>\n\u2022 Contributing to Apple graphic design projects from conception to completion,<br \/>\nincluding product launches, hardware art direction, event and branding<br \/>\nidentities, graphics and signage, retail collateral, packaging design, and<br \/>\nspecial occasion projects.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Internal group responsibilities include comping and preparing presentations, server<\/p>\n<p>organization, and some studio maintenance.<\/p>\n<p>Key Qualifications:<br \/>\n\u2022 An excellent understanding of the basic design principles of structure, grids, layouts,<br \/>\ntypography, and presentations. A strong understanding of image making and<br \/>\ncomposition. And a keen attention to detail, with sharp comping skills.<br \/>\n\u2022 The ability to work collaboratively and autonomously within a large group<br \/>\nenvironment is required. We\u2019re looking for a team player with a positive<br \/>\nattitude and curious mind.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Must have strong conceptual and strategic thinking skills.<br \/>\n\u2022 Good knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, and Illustrator.<br \/>\n\u2022 Cinema 4D, 3D software, and animation skills are a bonus.<br \/>\nEducation:<\/p>\n<p>\uf8ff<\/p>\n<p>Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s program in a related field of<br \/>\nstudy, graduating no sooner than December 2022.<br \/>\nTo qualify you must include a portfolio link on your resume.
