A fine art studio in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a creative coder to work collaboratively with our
\nin-house team developing parametric, animated, 3D, generative visuals using three.js and
\ncustom shaders.
\nThis is a project-based, work-for-hire, freelance position paid at an hourly rate. We are open to
\ncandidates with full-time and part-time availability, with a preference for those who would be
\nable to work from our studio in Brooklyn.
\nResponsibilities
\n\u25cf Work with creative team members, providing guidance on feasibility, approach, and
\nscope for technical implementation of creative ideas
\n\u25cf Implement features as requested
\n\u25cf Create and update user interfaces enabling customization and control of generative
\nvisuals
\n\u25cf Perform cross-browser, cross-platform testing
\n\u25cf Benchmark code and specify minimum hardware requirements to run it
\n\u25cf Fully document all features and code<\/p>\n
Required Skills
\n\u25cf Expert level knowledge of Javascript
\n\u25cf Experience using three.js
\n\u25cf Understanding of 3D geometry
\n\u25cf Thorough understanding of 3D rendering pipeline and webGL
\n\u25cf Experience programming shaders in GLSL
\n\u25cf Ability to design and implement user interfaces in Javascript
\n\u25cf Knowledge of version control best practices
\n\u25cf Interest in generative art<\/p>\n
