The English Department at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee
\nseeks a scholar-practitioner for a tenure track position in gaming and
\ndigital culture.<\/p>\n
Along with a focus on digital gaming, the ideal candidate will teach
\nand collaborate across some combination of areas related to gaming:
\nNarrative, Literature, Digital literature and culture, Identity and
\nsexuality, Global culture, or Futures of the book. Candidates with
\nexpertise that combines both theoretical and technical knowledge in
\nthe area of interactive media technologies, plus a proven ability to
\nteach courses that integrate the composition and critique of digital
\ntexts, are especially encouraged to apply.<\/p>\n
Requirements: PhD\/ABD, a significant research agenda, and a record of
\npublication or
\nstrong indication of publication promise.<\/p>\n

\nproduction, a short statement of research interest, and three letters
\nof reference by November 1; we also
