It is a paid student position — for grad students $26.75\/hr and usually pay for undergrads\u00a0$20\/hr but it depends on their experience. Students typically choose to work between 10 and 20 hours\/week (sometimes they work more hours and sometimes fewer hours, depending on their school commitments). Travel isn’t mandatory (our student\u00a0collaborators usually get a lot out of site visits, so we encourage it, but understand that not everyone is able to). The dates are typically flexible.<\/div>\n

Graduate and undergraduate students are welcome to apply for this paid position. The Communications and Design Fellow will work with the director and other research scholars to support the design of communication tools and the interactive communication of our applied research. Candidates with strong recording and production skills, prior experience with producing VR 360 content, and creating engaging communication tools are particularly encouraged to apply. This position would be a good fit for a motivated and creative student who works well with others. Fellows must be willing and able to travel with the team to at least one research site, including out-of-state travel (all costs associated with travel will be covered by the Marron Institute).<\/div>\n
\nAbout the Litmus Communications and Design Fellowship. The Fellow will work alongside researchers who engage with government agencies and non-profit organizations to provide insights, knowledge, and opportunities for action. Fellows can expect to:<\/p>\n

Produce VR 360 content to be used to help people who are reentering society after serving a prison term.<\/p><\/div>\n

\nAssist with communications on multiple projects as a member of the team.
\nContribute, as appropriate, to planning communications (including helping us think about novel communication strategies that we haven\u2019t yet imagined).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
