\nTIC UNIVERSITY, School of Communication and Multimedia Studies, is seeking a=
\nn Assistant Professor, tenure track, in Computer Animation\/Game Design. &nbs=
\np;The School seeks an artist with expertise in game design and 3D animation.=
\n Ideal candidates will demonstrate knowledge of and research interest =
\nin gaming systems, character animation and environmental design. Candi=
\ndates must be able to offer instruction in storyboarding and animatics, char=
\nacter animation, rendering and compositing, and have considerable practical =
\nexperience with character modeling and texturing, character rigging and anim=
\nation, 3D environments, CG lighting, and game engines. Applicants must=
\n possess a high degree of technical competency to participate in partnership=
\ns with art, entertainment, science, and\/or industry. Candidates must a=
\nlso be skilled in a range of software packages such as Maya, Modo, Mudbox, z=
\nBrush, 3D Studio Max, Blender, Softimage, Shake, Nuke, Final Cut, Premiere, =
\nand Photoshop. Additional experience with Motion Builder, Python, or o=
\nther software scripting (MEL) is desirable. Effective date of employme=

\nes with active exhibition history, significant practical experience in an ac=
