Must have strong user understanding and demonstrated expertise in Web content, usability, architecture, development,\u00a0and design. This is a fully remote position that will require 5-15 hours per week.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Demonstrated ability to manage a small to medium Web ecosystem. Provide excellent management and leadership to the A\/P\/A staff and work collaboratively with staff, management, University clients, and IT support.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Partner with internal and external content managers, editors, designers, developers, and other University staff to ensure sites meet both client and University needs, align with the brand strategy platform, and meet University Web standards.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Market and present web\/digital strategies to diverse audiences, manage multiple projects and maintain schedules.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Excellent web\/digital media project management and estimating experience.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fluent in development optimization techniques to deliver the best user experiences in the most technically efficient manner.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Experience\/Education<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">5+ years, plus two years management experience of Web projects preferred<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">BA or MFA Digital Media, Interaction Design, or related degree.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Qualifications \/ Required, advanced knowledge of the following:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">WordPress or similar experience is a must since A\/P\/A currently uses WordPress hosted on AWS.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">HTML, XHTML, CSS design, cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility, Access, mySQL, javascript<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Adobe Creative Suite<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CMS, graceful degradation, unobtrusive javascript<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">W3C Web standards, WAI, ADA &amp; Sections 508 and 504 compliance<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Preferred-XML, AJAX, RSS, PHP, ASP, SQLserver, ActionScript, Flash rich internet applications<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Professional liability and cybersecurity insurance is required.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Hourly rate<\/b><b>:<\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">$60\/hour<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To apply please provide a cover letter and resume detailing work experience, and your interest in the Asian\/Pacific\/American Institute at NYU.
