Some recent examples of our work include:
\n\u2022 We Have Rights: Developing We Have Rights, a know your rights film and advocacy
\ncampaign for immigrants and bystanders on how to safely defend against interactions
\nwith ICE, in 7 languages, with famous voice talent, reaching over 23 million people.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Still in Prison: Producing, directing, and writing the centerpiece video for the campaign to
\nend a racist Jim Crow law in Oregon State. It told the story of a jailhouse lawyer who
\nfought to get the Supreme Court to strike the law down and was still fighting to help the
\nhundreds still in prison.<\/p>\n
\u2022 (Coming soon) The Courtwatchers: an upcoming video in graphic novel style recruiting
\nall Americans to court watch by telling the story of PG County Maryland\u2019s Courtwatching
\nprogram, which has over 200 volunteers. The score is by Fiona Apple and she and
\nJesse Williams are the voices for the animation.<\/p>\n

Internship Description:
\nVariant Strategies is looking for an intern to work an average of 12-15 hours a week to support
\ncampaigns, social media strategies, creative development, information for distribution partners,
\nlegislators, and media, research and proposal drafting. This internship would be for class credit
\nand is remote.<\/p>\n
Skills required:
\n\u2022 Excellent writer
\n\u2022 Experience and track record using
\nsocial media<\/p>\n
\u2022 Commitment to social justice work
\n\u2022 Advocacy experience
\n\u2022 Video experience a plus<\/p>\n
