Data Visualizer
\nThe Sunlight Foundation is seeking a data visualizer to help explain and sh=
\nowcase the data about the US Federal Government and State and Local governme=
\nnts too. This data could include campaign contributions for the past 30 year=
\ns in the federal government and all 50 states, information about lobbyist co=
\nntacts with members of congress, and information about legislation and proce=
\nss in government.<\/p>\n
About You
\nYou=92re passionate about taking complex information and concepts, distilli=
\nng them to their essence and making them visually sing.=20
\nYou have a strong technical side as well as a design side. You know that th=
\nere are lies, damn lies, and statistics, and know how to properly use analyt=
\nic tools to get to the truth.=20
\nYou are passionate about the open government and transparency space, and be=
\nlieve that your data visualizations can make a difference. You=92re familiar=
\n enough with the issues in the space that you=92ll contribute your own ideas=
\n and thoughts to the process.=20
\nYou have a minimum of two (2) years of information visualization experience=
\n with a background in both understanding math, but also in making things ple=
\nasing to the eye.=20
\nExperience and interest in coaching other team members is a plus.=20<\/p>\n

\nThe Sunlight Foundation is a non-profit, non partisan Washington, DC based =
\norganization focused on digitization of government data and making tools and=
\n websites to make it easily accessible. There=92s about 30 of us working in =
\nDupont Circle to open up our government so that people can see what=92s goin=
