of <\/b><\/font>New Media position. <\/b>Situated within the Art History and Visual Arts Depa=
\nrtment=92s Film & Media Studies<\/b><\/font><\/div>\n
Program, this position will entail the teaching of both digital =
\nproduction and theory, <\/b><\/font>expanding traditional<\/b><\/font><\/div>\n
notions of dig=
\nital media creation so as to provide critical perspectives on the cultural, =
\neconomic, and<\/b><\/font><\/div>\n
practical implications of new media forms.<\/font><\/div>\n
Because our program trans=
\ncends the traditional divisions between production and critical studies,<\/b>=
\n<\/font><\/div>\n
candidates should preferabl=
\ny demonstrate expertise in film and media production (MFA) as well as film<\/font><\/div>\n
critical studies (PhD).<\/font><\/div>\n
