Lincoln Center Digital is a dynamic and energetic in-house digital group looking to push
\nboundaries in the digital space. We are focused on developing one-of-a-kind, unique consumer
\nexperiences online, on mobile devices, and physically across our 16-acre campus. The digital
\nteam has the incredible opportunity to build solutions across a broad range of performing arts
\nexperiences. In short, what we imagine as an organization, we in technology get to develop. You
\nwill not find yourself in a small box of what you can deliver. Instead, you will be expected to
\ncome to the table with possibilities and solutions.
\nLincoln Center\u2019s digital strategy is stretching beyond selling tickets. We are building the premier
\ndigital place to experience the arts through video, editorial content, live-streaming, original
\nforms of digital storytelling, and even VR\/AR. We are looking for a talented, passionate
\ndeveloper to help break boundaries and build new interactive ways for patrons to experience
\nLincoln Center and the performing arts around the world in digital reality.
\nThe candidate must have the ability to both brainstorm on how to build something, but also
\ncreate it. Our small team is also responsible for current state support of various micro sites, the
\nmain website and potential smartphone applications, and all team members will have a variety of
\ntasks. Although we are a non-profit organization, we are a fast-moving group with multiple
\nprojects on the go at all times. Therefore, we are looking for a highly skilled computer
\nprogrammer who is comfortable with both front and back-end programming. Full stack
\ndevelopers are responsible for developing and designing front end web architecture, ensuring the
\nresponsiveness of applications, and working alongside graphic designers for web design features,
\namong other duties.
\nFull stack developers will be required to see out a project from conception to final product,
\nrequiring good organizational skills and attention to detail. This position reports to the Director,
\nDigital Design.
\nFull Stack Developer Responsibilities:
\nDeveloping front end website architecture.
\nDesigning user interactions on web pages.
\nDeveloping back-end website applications.
\nCreating servers and databases for functionality.
\nEnsuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones.
\nEnsuring responsiveness of applications.
\nWorking alongside designers for web design features.
\nSeeing through a project from conception to finished product.
\nDesigning and developing APIs.
\nMeeting both technical and consumer needs.
\nStaying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.
\nFull Stack Developer Requirements:
\n5+ years of professional work experience
\nKey technologies: Statamic, SASS, CSS, HTML, HTML email creation, Exact Target, Google
\nAnalytics, XML, Javascript, JQuery<\/p>\n

Scripting language skills: PHP with a focus on OOP and MVC design pattern, Node.js
\nExperience with responsive templates
\nIDE: Grunt\/command line\/ssh, Homebrew
\nExperience building CMS sites (Statamic, Expression Engine, WordPress, Drupal)
\nEstablished JavaScript abilities across both native and popular JS frameworks
\nVersed in code repository software (Git, Subversion, etc.)
\nAdobe Illustrator \/ SVG \/ Photoshop
\nSolid understanding of browser quirks and workarounds
\nDeep familiarity with a version control system like SVN or Git
\nStrong working knowledge of web standards, coding best practices, and accessibility standards
\n\u00b7 Strong organizational and project management skills.
\n\u00b7 Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React, and Amber.
\n\u00b7 Proficiency with server-side languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, PHP, and .Net.
\n\u00b7 Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
\n\u00b7 Excellent verbal communication skills.
\n\u00b7 Good problem-solving skills.
\n\u00b7 Attention to detail.<\/p>\n
