Ultra Space<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0is hosting a\u00a0zine fair<\/strong>, and we want you to be a part of it! This is your chance to showcase your zines exploring the intersections of architecture, embodiment, and non-linear time. We welcome all kinds of zines, from experimental to personal, fiction to non-fiction, art to poetry.<\/p>\n

The fair will take place on\u00a0Thursday, April 27<\/strong>\u00a0from\u00a05-6:30pm<\/strong>\u00a0at\u00a0CCAM. Don’t miss the chance to showcase your work and be in the running for our top zine content and design awards!<\/p>\n

Zines must be received by\u00a0Friday,\u00a0April 7, 2023\u00a0<\/strong>at\u00a05pm<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

What can we learn from artist Sh\u016bsaku Arakawa and poet Madeline Gins about the body and space, on Earth and in the cosmos? What role(s) can embodiment play in understanding the world around us? What does it mean to perceive and engage with it using our full bodies?<\/p>\n

These ideas and questions have inspired\u00a0Ultra Space<\/strong><\/em>, and with this\u00a0Call for Proposals<\/strong>, we invite you to explore them further. You can propose a\u00a0paper<\/strong>\u00a0(such as an article, essay, or review) and\/or a\u00a0creative response<\/strong>\u00a0(like a work of short fiction, a selection of photographs or visual materials, or poetry). Accepted authors\/creators will present and discuss their work in person at\u00a0CCAM\u00a0as part of the Symposium, and final versions will be published in a printed volume.<\/p>\n

Proposals are due by\u00a0Friday, March 17, 2023 at 11:59pm<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
