Harnessing<br \/>\nemerging media technologies, the team is developing a multi-space, multimedia exhibition; this<br \/>\nexhibition integrates immersive theater and digital installation to reveal to the modern audiences<br \/>\nthe imagination and philosophy of life encapsulated by the Mawangdui tombs. As a Research<br \/>\nAssistant, you will work with the CAMLab curatorial team to develop the design of a multimedia<br \/>\nexhibition on early Chinese art.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Skills:<\/strong><br \/>\n\u25cf Proficiency in digital modeling software such as Rhinoceros or other platforms.<br \/>\n\u25cf Knowledge of architectural drawing in AutoCAD.<br \/>\n\u25cf Proficiency in graphic design using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Desirable Skills:<\/strong><br \/>\n\u25cf Experience in website and\/or interactive design<br \/>\n\u25cf Proficiency in projection optics calculation and\/or projection mapping software<br \/>\n(such as MadMapper)<br \/>\n\u25cf Proficiency in video editing and animation<br \/>\n\u25cf Knowledge of 3D sound design<br \/>\n\u25cf Knowledge of architectural, automated, and\/or DMX lighting design<br \/>\n\u25cf Knowledge of 3D worldbuilding platforms (such as Unity 3D)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Compensation:<\/strong> 15-20 h\/week, $25\/h<\/p>\n<p><strong>To be considered, please submit the following:<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 Cover Letter (indicating relevant interests\/activities and availability)<br \/>\n\u2022 Resume (indicating relevant skills and experience including academic work)<br \/>\n\u2022 Portfolio (including images\/videos\/other media and short descriptions of relevant work)<br \/>\nAll documents must be converted to a PDF and submitted to lornacampos@fas.harvard.edu<br \/>\nInclude the \u201cApplication \u2013 Position Title\u201d for which you are applying in the subject line.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the Mawangdui Han Tombs:<\/strong> The Mawangdui Han Tombs are a collection of tombs in<br \/>\nChina that contain a rich collection of artifacts from the Western Han dynasty.
