Duties will include creating seminar event and conference web<br \/>\npostings; processing of expense reimbursements; seminar presenter communications,<br \/>\nfinancial account reconciliation; and a small amount of special event support work. We use<br \/>\nAdobe Experience Manager and WordPress, but you need not be familiar with both in order<br \/>\nto be a successful applicant. Familiarity with MS Office and the Google Cloud Suite are a<br \/>\nplus. Must have good English writing skills, be reliable, and be able to work independently as<br \/>\nwell as with a team. Must be comfortable with basic math for processing reimbursements<br \/>\nand be willing to learn how to reconcile a financial account&#8230;liking puzzles is helpful. High<br \/>\nattention to details is essential. Common sense is a plus. Seeking someone who can work a<br \/>\nflexible 15-20 hours\/week mostly between 10AM and 6 PM with flexibility when special<br \/>\nevents are scheduled. Hours can be set around your classes and exam schedule. The CV<br \/>\nStarr Center is a small office environment within a larger department at a large university.<br \/>\nMany of our prior students workers have stayed with the center for multiple years.<br \/>\nThis is a job where you can learn and grow a lot of useful work skills that will serve you well in<br \/>\nthe future. You must be a current NYU Student in order to be eligible for hiring.<br \/>\nSpecial Directions: Please include a sample cover letter as a writing sample.
