PROGRAM OVERVIEW<\/strong><\/h3>\n
The Creative Career Design Fellowship is a semester long program for graduate level students in arts degree programs at NYU. The cohort will meet for seven sessions in the fall for workshops covering topics including: pitching, raising money, personal finance, building relationships, and more. In addition, each participant will receive two career coaching sessions with the program facilitator. The fellowship will culminate in an industry event for select members of the cohort in December.<\/div>\n

WHY YOU NEED THIS<\/strong><\/h3>\n
Creative careers don\u2019t come with a blueprint. There is no clear path to success and no rulebook to follow to ensure financial security.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
However,<\/em>\u00a0the Creative Career Design Fellowship can help make you better prepared to manage the uncertainty that comes with a creative career.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Over the course of the semester, students will learn the essentials of telling their story, differentiating themselves as artists, building industry relationships, pitching their ideas, and raising money.<\/div>\n

FULL COMMITMENT \u2013 Attendance to all sessions and events is mandatory.<\/div>\n

COMMUNITY MINDED ATTITUDE \u2013 Positive attitude and a commitment to the support and growth of other members of the cohort.<\/div>\n

VIABLE CREATIVE PROJECTS \u2013 All fellows must have a creative project that they are actively working to execute over the course of the academic year.<\/div>\n
