This is great position for a brilliant person who lives to run a massi=
\nve data center to serve cutting edge media rich Internet applications.<\/p>\n

The Lead Systems Architect will assume a leading management role within the=
\n company and R&D team.  This includes managing the infrastructure o=
\nf world class web applications that serve millions while managing multiple d=
\nata centers and our main office.  This
\nperson will be the lead authority in the company regarding all systems issu=
\nes, will understand, advise and implement systems aspects of R&D product=
\n development and represent the needs of the systems team and plan for growth=
\n.<\/p>\n

Requirements:<\/p>\n

<\/b>We are looking for an experienced, exceptional hands-on individual to c=
\nome on board & lead our Systems Team.<\/p>\n

Qualifications:<\/p>\n

<\/b>    * Proven experience working with internet-based clie=
\nnt-server applications: A minimum of 5 years working with a company which de=
\nlivers applications over the web in a senior position.<\/p>\n

    * Able to interact comfortably with senior management, b=
\nusiness units and application development teams and provide a high level of =
\nconfidence in the reliability of systems and solutions.<\/p>\n

    * System monitoring: (NAGIOS a plus)  Develop and m=
\nanage system monitoring infrastructure and assume responsibility for issue e=
\nscalation based on maintaining 100% application uptime and the parameters of=
\n defined service level agreements.<\/p>\n

    * Networking: Experience with hardware load balancing (C=
\nisco a plus), LAN infrastructure (switches, cabling), firewalls (IOS), VPNS =
\nand intrusion detection systems.<\/p>\n

    * System Administration: Strong Linux experience managin=
\ng Apache, MySQL, Samba and NFS servers is a requirement (provisioning, maint=
\nenance and performance tuning).  Windows Server and MSSQL a plus.<\/p>\n

    * High Availability\/Scalability: Good knowledge of the d=
\nifferent methods of providing redundancy on many levels to ensure that appli=
\ncation integrity is not compromised including Linux system clustering, MySQL=
\n replication, component redundancy and recovery
\nfrom failure.  Develop and maintain horizontal and vertical scalabilit=
\ny for infrastructure components.<\/p>\n

    * Vendor Relations: Work with vendors for all datacenter=
\n infrastructure components and manage and maintain the physical inventory.<\/p>\n

    * Content Delivery Networks: Good understanding of the f=
\nunction and use of a CDN in web-based applications and the ability to mainta=
\nin all points of integration.<\/p>\n

    * Client Relations: Act as a point of contact for client=
\n technical staff during the implementation phase and for any troubleshooting=
\n and debugging of application issues that are related to core system and inf=
\nrastructure.  Act as technical lead for integration
\nwith third-party systems when systems and infrastructure are involved.<\/p>\n

    * Programming: Experience with PHP a plus.  Perl an=
\nd bash experience required.<\/p>\n

    * API: Developing specifications for and implementing AP=
\nIs<\/p>\n
