Are you interested in joining the organizing team at NYU’s annual hackathon, HackNYU?\u00a0Want to hone your skills in responsive design, marketing, software engineering, web dev, project management, and sponsorship?<\/p>\n
<\/div>\n
HackNYU is back for the 2024-25 hacking season! And we’re looking for YOU.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
HackNYU 2024 will be held in Fall 2024 and will be the biggest hackathon ever -> 1000+ participants from all over the world.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Fill out\u00a0this<\/a>\u00a0form (https:\/\/forms.gle\/hUa9X4bxi5Eh8Fzo7<\/a>) completely and honestly to move one step closer to joining an amazing cohort of people, here at HackNYU.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Here’s a brief overview of all available positions with a short description of the responsibilities you would have for each of them:<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
1) Tech Developers -> Build reactive websites, practice GitHub Version Control, update the\u00a0hacknyu.org<\/a>\u00a0website, and work alongside the design team to get everything tech in order! Experience with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and React preferred.<\/div>\n
2) Project Managers\/Vice-Presidents -> Each team in HackNYU is generally led by a project manager who is responsible for meeting deadlines, maintaining direct contact with the co-executive directors, and managing each sub-task of their respective teams from ideation to completion! This role usually requires more availability of hours and a strong sense of crisis management. Previous experience in Agile software such as Asana preferred.<\/div>\n
3) Logistics -> Perform logistical, analytical, and fiscal tasks within the given budget and work around building TypeForms, managing hacker, sponsor, volunteer, and organizer logistics, answering e-mails, and ordering catering.<\/div>\n
4) Marketing and Sponsorship (NEW!!) -> Apply your UX, and professional writing skills to reach out and maintain a relationship with current and new sponsors as well as provide problem statements for the design and management teams. Come build those connections and build those networking skills!\u00a0Become HackNYU’s social media and marketing ambassadors to make our hackathon well-represented\u00a0(You will be given basic training, regardless of your experience).<\/div>\n
5) Designers -> Focus on building newsletters, marketing designs, UX flows, illustrators, and improving the aesthetic of HackNYU. Preferred skills:\u00a0Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe Suite, Figma. IDM and IMA students at NYU are encouraged to apply!!<\/div>\n

Morgan Chase & Co., Figma, Disney, Marshall Wace, Wegmans, etc. in the past and our alumni believe that HackNYU’s organizing team equips you with the perfect experience to get recruited at top firms such as those of our sponsors.<\/div>\n

Remember, all positions carry their own merit and require an equivalent amount of effort and hours to make HackNYU a success! Selected candidates will be invited to interview during the Spring semester!<\/div>\n

This form is open to NYU New York, Abu Dhabi (NEW!!), and Shanghai (NEW!!) students and is open to both undergraduate and graduate-level students! All majors & years (as long as your graduation date is beyond November 2024) are welcome to apply!<\/div>\n
