Arts Thread is pleased to announce that the\u00a0Global Creative Graduate Showcase 2024<\/b>\u00a0– \u00a0our 5th Anniversary<\/b>\u00a0– has just launched, with a new partnership with\u00a0WGSN + Coloro \/ Google Arts & Culture<\/b>.<\/div>\n

Global Creative Graduate Showcase is the new name for Global Design Graduate Show, a nonprofit organisation set up to promote the work of graduating art & design students worldwide.<\/div>\n

Just like previous years, Arts Thread will showcase all of the finest end-of-year work from all creative students graduating this year in every art & design category, such as\u00a0visual communication, film, fashion, textiles, interior, architecture, visual arts, contemporary craft, industrial & product design and more. \u00a0<\/b><\/div>\n

Over 150 respected industry experts<\/b>\u00a0from brands & organisations such as\u00a0Apple, Adidas, Conran Studio, Design Museum, Gucci, Herman Miller, Informa, Levi\u2019s, Nike, Pentland Group, Philips, United Nations, Zaha Hadid\u00a0<\/b>and many more will judge this initiative.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Last year’s Global Design Graduate Show was a huge success with 5823 entries representing 114 countries from 472 higher education institutions, surpassing the previous years’ achievements. There was a combined editorial and social reach of 190 million. Over the last 4 years, hundreds have gained employment or launched their own brands thanks to this proactive initiative.<\/div>\n

DETAILS<\/div>\n
This year\u2019s initiative is open to all undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate art and design disciplines for those that are\u00a0graduating between September 2023 – August 2024<\/b>\u00a0(Southern Hemisphere graduating after September 2023).<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Students have until\u00a0August 31 2024<\/b>\u00a0to upload their end-of-year projects onto the Arts Thread platform. A team of independent judges will narrow the work down to a shortlist of creatives whose work will be displayed on\u00a0artsthread.com<\/a>. A panel of esteemed judges will choose their winners and there will also be a public vote, which will allow the global audience to see the submissions whilst voting for their favourites.<\/div>\n

WHO CAN APPLY:<\/b>\u00a0Free to apply and open internationally to all art and design students graduating in the Academic Year 2023-24 – i.e. September 2023 to August 2024 (undergraduate and postgraduate) in any related creative discipline, located anywhere in the world.<\/div>\n
