We strive to provide resources, mentorship, and<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">workshops to equip budding PMs with the skills to tackle diverse problems faced by businesses<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and consumers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Description:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The NYU Product Management Club (PMC) is seeking a talented and passionate Website \/ UX<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Designer to redesign<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">our Notion website<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. This opportunity is open to students of all levels,<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">including high school, undergraduates, graduates, and PhD students, who have a background or<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">have taken a class in UX design. This role offers an excellent chance for students to enhance<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">their design portfolio and gain practical experience in website design within a student<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> organization setting.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Responsibilities:<\/b><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Collaborate with the PMC team to understand project requirements and goals.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u25cf <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Conduct user research and gather feedback to inform design decisions.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u25cf <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for the Notion website.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u25cf <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ensure the website design aligns with the club&#8217;s branding and objectives.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u25cf <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Iterate on designs based on feedback from stakeholders and users.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Optimize the website for usability and accessibility.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Requirements:<\/b><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Background or coursework in UX design.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u25cf <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Strong communication and collaboration skills.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Preferred Qualifications:<\/b><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Experience with Notion or willingness to learn.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Familiarity with user research methodologies.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Previous experience with website design or redesign projects.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Additional Information:<\/b><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is an unpaid volunteer position.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The design is expected to be implemented on Notion.
