STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Arts Math) Specialist- The STEAM
Specialist will be responsible for implementing the organization\u2019s social action
curriculum and having it reflect a multimedia approach with deliverables designed
by youth in the program. The STEAM Specialist must be competent in the following
areas:
\u25cf Experience in classroom management and youth development
\u25cf Strong Communication Skills and Initiative
\u25cf Competency in Final Cut Pro, Adobe Creative Suite, Google SketchUp,
Microsoft Office, Lego Mindstorm\/EV3 Software
\u25cf Must be flexible and open to learning new technologies
\u25cf An understanding of 3D-Printing and robotics is a plus
\u25cf Bachelor of Arts or working towards degree
\u25cf Creative Individual
\u25cf Must be able to engage youth and have high expectations of all children
enrolled in the program
\u25cf Must have online portfolio reflecting work
\u25cf Willing to be fingerprinted and participate in national background check in
compliance with the Office of Children and Family Services<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is a 9-15 hour a week position after-school 2-6PM. This position pays $25-$30
an hour based on experience
