As a Product Designer, you\u2019ll be responsible for defining, designing, researching, prototyping, and implementing new features as well as future iterations. We&#8217;re looking for a design intern who isn&#8217;t afraid to jump in and explore new challenges. You have a balance of interaction design, visual design, and product thinking skills. You are customer obsessed and research driven. You\u2019re a natural collaborator and can work independently and in a team environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Product Design Intern, Reality Labs Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into something useful and valuable for people using our products<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work collaboratively with Product, Research, Engineering and other partners from concept to completion<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Own the end-to-end design (user flows, interaction, visual, etc.) of products and projects<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Present designs, prototypes and concepts to cross functional partners and stakeholders<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide implementation guidance to engineers and ensure features launch at the highest quality<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Clearly articulate design decisions to a vast set of internal stakeholders across Reality Labs and Meta<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Experience building and shipping applications or software at the level of whole features across a variety of platforms<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Interaction Design experience with ability to define how an experience should behave based on understanding people&#8217;s needs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to use prototyping skills to demonstrate how a particular flow or interaction will work<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Visual Design skills with proficiency in typography, desktop\/mobile UI, color, layout, iconography and aesthetic sense<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strategic product thinker with the ability to understand product goals, identify opportunities, and make decisions based on the impact to people and the company.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Able to clearly and succinctly articulate the goals of your team<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a Bachelor&#8217;s or Master&#8217;s degree in design or related design field<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Experience designing for hardware products and new interaction models<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to showcase your end to end design process across multiple projects, that include interaction and visual design artifacts and high-fidelity prototypes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For those who live in or expect to work from California if hired for this position, please click&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/scontent-lga3-3.xx.fbcdn.net\/v\/t39.2365-6\/457477312_480861821467896_777041002100550877_n.pdf?_nc_cat=110&amp;ccb=1-7&amp;_nc_sid=e280be&amp;_nc_ohc=pfhRHi7Y7RsQ7kNvgGnY4ia&amp;_nc_zt=14&amp;_nc_ht=scontent-lga3-3.xx&amp;_nc_gid=Am_xdCeBDmYL9v3_wRdcqRt&amp;oh=00_AYDspC4lCnbt6WSf4MGFc2B7cemtpyu2zuF8R6pchOSn4A&amp;oe=677FC7EB\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>&nbsp;for additional information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Click here to apply.
