\nJob Title: Web 2.0 PHP Front end\/ UI developers
\nDescription: We’re seeking Web 2.0 UI developers for PHP\/AJAX based
\napplication development at our fast-growing financial services firm.<\/p>\n
This is a contract position (3-4 month min with possibility of
\nextension or full hire). Candidate must be willing to commute to our
\noffices in East Brunswick, NJ.<\/p>\n
Strong candidates should have among the following skillsets:<\/p>\n
* 3-5 years page development\/production using JHTML, PHP, HTML, DHTML,
\nCSS, AJAX, JSON and JavaScript
\n* 1-3 years experience with XML and XSL\/XSLT
\n* An understanding of OOP Analysis, Design and implementation Pluses:
\n* Security know-how: XSS, SQL Injections and other web application
\nvulnerabilities
\n* SVN or other Version Control
\n* PHP5, OOP, Advanced Structured Programming
\n* Expertise with templating (Smarty)
\n* Strong understanding of Design Patterns
\n* Caching at all layers on n-tier applications
\n* Advanced Web and SQL Programming
\n* MySQL 5
\n* Data Modeling
\n* Systems Architecture, modular\/component based design, etc
\n* Be familiar with toolkits like Dojo, YUI, Prototype.
\n* Familiarity with Photoshop and other graphic design.
\n* Knowledge of Adobe Flex a plus!<\/p>\n
Candidates should be able to hit the ground running and be able to:<\/p>\n
* Can translate design\/prototype\/wireframes into HTML
\n* Can successfully integrate design into HTML that renders the same
\nmultiple browser platforms
\n* Must be able to work at the code and markup level when necessary.
\n* Must have experience developing complex, table-less layouts
\nimplemented with CSS.
\n* In depth understanding of cross-browser UI development issues.
\n* Strong problem solving skills.
\n* Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
\n* Effective communication and technical documentation skills.
\n* Design user interfaces for our web-based and desktop applications
\nincluding visual look and feel, styles, navigation, and layout
\n* Knowledge of all common browser configurations
\n* Solid scripting experience in using JavaScript.
\n* Excellent skills in HTML, CSS (Cascading style sheets) and Ajax
\n* Strong experience in cross browser application and browser side caching.<\/p>\n
