Over the past few years, I\u2019ve had the pleasure of working with colleagues on the OSHF board to lay the foundation for this US-based 501(c)(3). We’re now ready to bring on an Executive Director to carry this work forward and help raise awareness of the value of open science hardware — for institutions, researchers, and the broader scientific community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This person will lead the organization\u2019s development, team, and fundraising strategy (with an initial three-year commitment). They’ll shape and launch programs like research fellowships, a fiscal sponsorship initiative, and workshops, while also providing strategic direction to support the community-based work already happening in the open science hardware space (for instance, the Gathering for Open Science Hardware).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s a fantastic role for someone who thrives at the intersection of leadership and collaboration and is committed to advancing mission-driven work that strengthens the links between science and society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
