JOB DESCRIPTION <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We are seeking a highly skilled content and curriculum designer to join our team and play a crucial role in the development of math and science content, both in VR and in accompanying materials. The ideal candidate will have a passion for experiential education, learning design, and problem-solving, and the ability to think spatially, systemically, and creatively when designing learning experiences. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u25cf Design new math and science modules in VR : \u25cb Research, design, scope, and script standards-aligned learning experiences <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u25cb Lead the production of multiple modules simultaneously <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u25cf Review and refine existing content: \u25cb Fully own the content of existing modules <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u25cb Make recommendations for changes as needed <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u25cf Develop, refine, and update curriculum materials: \u25cb Create and adjust multimedia materials for teacher and student use <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u25cf Advocate for content integrity, module quality, and continuous improvement: \u25cb Fully own and advocate for the accuracy, depth, and rigor of each module <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u25cb Embrace the iterative nature of high-quality content development <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u25cf Collaborate with cross-functional teams: \u25cb Work closely with content developers, engineers, artists, and instructional specialists to ensure clarity and alignment <\/p>\n\n\n\n

REQUIREMENTS <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25cf Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u25cf Proven experience in instructional and\/or interactive design <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u25cf Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for explaining complex mathematical and scientific concepts clearly and concisely <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u25cf Ability to think spatially and creatively about STEM concepts <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u25cf Strong analytical and problem-solving skills <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u25cf Exceptional time management skills; ability to prioritize and handle concurrent projects <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u25cf Ability to work independently and as part of a team <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u25cf Ability to flexibly meet across time zones (EST and PST) <\/p>\n\n\n\n
NICE TO HAVES <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u25cf A background in engineering <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u25cf Familiarity with VR hardware and software, such as Pico, Quest, or similar platforms <\/p>\n\n\n\n
