OnConnect()<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

OnConnect() <\/em>features ten media artists presenting interactive works across a range of media. The exhibition explores connection as an event in which relationships between humans, technologies, and environments are continually reconfigured. Throughout the exhibition, visitors are invited to become active participants in the connections that unfold. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ownership:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a co-owned, collaborative exhibition. There are 10(ish) spots available, and priorities will be given to those who can help out with some of the responsibilities of the show. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Payment:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Living Gallery charges $3600 ($2400 for the space and a $1200 security deposit). The cost will be split evenly among artists and deposits will be returned after the show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Acceptable Work:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Any physical or digital projects that are interactive are welcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– All projects need to have a close to finished version with a demonstrative video to be considered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– We will be prioritizing completed works, solo projects, and due to logistics constraints, reviewing on a rolling basis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Exhibition dates:<\/strong>– Installation – October 14, 15
– Opening day – October 16
– On display period – October 16 – 23
– Deinstallation – October 24<\/p>\n\n\n\n

* Everyone needs to be present for installation, opening day, and deinstallation day.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

* There will be artists’ talk on the opening day.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Events – Expression of Interest<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also accept time-based performances and workshops proposals during the show period. Please submit them through the form, and please mention the duration of the project. It will most likely be scheduled on Friday\/Saturday\/Sunday, as more audiences are expected on the weekend, and the rent cost will be based on the duration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
