We produce finished branded content for national clients in beauty, real estate, hospitality, and healthcare, combining frontier AI generation tools with real creative direction and professional post-production. Our sister company, Polar Opposite, produces music videos, commercials, and documentaries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">THE ROLE<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A creative technologist is the person who looks at a new tool and asks what it&#8217;s actually for, then builds the thing that makes it useful to everyone else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This role sits between the craft and the machinery. Half of it is making work: shots, sequences, experiments, things nobody has tried yet. The other half is turning what works into a system: a template, a preset, a pipeline, a repeatable process that lets the next project start at hour six instead of hour zero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We&#8217;re not looking for someone who only wants to prompt, and we&#8217;re not looking for a pure engineer. We&#8217;re looking for a creative who is excited about experimenting with and using emerging technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">WHAT YOU&#8217;LL DO<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Prototype with frontier tools (Seedance, Veo, Runway, Kling, Higgsfield, Firefly, ElevenLabs) and figure out what each one is actually good at before we bet a client project on it<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Build the systems that come out of that: prompt libraries, continuity templates, look presets, project structures, naming conventions, checklists that survive contact with a deadline<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Combine generative output with traditional craft (practical footage, film scans, compositing, motion graphics, sound) because the interesting work almost never comes from one source<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Automate the boring parts: batch processing, asset organization, deck and deliverable generation, anything currently done by hand twice<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Document what you build so it outlives your term here<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bring ideas to client briefs, the &#8220;what if we tried&#8221; that turns a standard spot into something people forward<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work on real deliverables with real deadlines, reviewed and mentored directly by our AI Content lead<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">WHAT YOU&#8217;LL LEARN<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>How to evaluate a new tool quickly and honestly, past the demo reel<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prompt craft, continuity, and shot design, closer to directing than typing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>How generative output gets integrated with conventional post instead of replacing it<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Systems thinking applied to creative work: templating, versioning, and repeatability<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enough scripting and automation to build your own tools, whatever you do next<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The operational reality of a small studio, where every process you improve is immediately visible<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">WHO YOU ARE<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>NYU Tisch Film &amp; TV student, or comparable program, able to receive academic credit<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Make things constantly: films, edits, music, apps, zines, weird side projects. We want to see them<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Comfortable in Premiere or equivalent; After Effects, Photoshop, or 3D a plus<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Some technical curiosity: Python, JavaScript, Git, n8n, automations, spreadsheets held together with formulas. Any of it counts, none of it required. If you only vibe code, that&#8217;s genuinely fine<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hands-on with at least one AI generation tool, and opinionated about it<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Self-directed. Also send a link to something you built or automated: a tool, a template, a system, code, a workflow, a piece of work that shows how you use technology creatively.
