Iron Lady Management is a growing artist management company representing up
and coming musicians, including Bajah + the Dry Eye Crew
(www.planetbajah.com, don’t mind the ugly site). Okayafrica (new project of
okayplayer.com) is a new web initiative showcasing new music, arts, culture,
and lifestyle from Africa and the Diaspora.<\/p>\n
We are in the throes of launching a new website, as well as launching Bajah
+ The Dry Eye Crew nationwide, and are in need of skilled interactive
artists & designers who are in school or have recently graduated.<\/p>\n
If you\u00b9re good, motivated and in sync with us, this is a great opportunity
to develop truly creative works for your portfolio, and experiment with new
ideas for a network of sites that get more than 250,000 unique visitors a
month. <\/p>\n
We are in search of art & design interns with skills in one or more of the
following areas:
– interactive\/multimedia content\/micro content
– web design
– wordpress
– video shooting and\/or editing
– social networking site design & upkeep
– live event – on-line tie ins<\/p>\n
The ideal candidate would be mac-based and have their own computer\/software,
be able to dedicate at least 5 hours a week (more is better), works
home-based but available for meetings (williamsburg\/dumbo\/soho locations).
You need to be smart, creative, self-motivated, professional, and have a
passion for making stuff. If you love Africa, hip-hop, or music, even
