Learn more about MOUSE<br \/>programs at www.mouse.org.<br \/>Position Description:<br \/>Reporting to the Education Director, the MOUSE Program Manager is<br \/>responsible for leading key program operations including events and<br \/>training, partnership management, and reporting systems. In addition<br \/>to responsibilities outlined below, the Program Manager serves as a<br \/>lead representative for our youth programming \u00a1V engaging youth,<br \/>educators, and stakeholders during events, trainings, and meetings.<br \/>The new MOUSE Program Manager is a key partner in the design and<br \/>development of MOUSE&#8217;s programmatic growth by (1) working to<br \/>design, develop and implement program elements that deepen impact<br \/>for both MOUSE Squad and MOUSE Corps programming; (2)<br \/>cultivating relationships with DOE district and region partners; and (3)<br \/>building the operational capacity of site support services.<br \/>Key Responsibilities:<br \/>Training<br \/>MOUSE Program Managers are key collaborators in the continuous<br \/>improvement of all elements of MOUSE Program Training. In this role,<br \/>the Program Manager oversees the following discrete tasks:<br \/>Lead the implementation of MOUSE Squad&#8217;s in-person site<br \/>support efforts, working with the Program Team to refine<br \/>practices, improve outcomes, and build efficiencies<br \/>Develop protocols for collecting site support data and cycling<br \/>that data from Coordinators and contractors back in to MOUSE&#8217;s<br \/>continuous improvement system<br \/>Lead implementation logistics of NYC MOUSE Program Training,<br \/>events and related events calendar<br \/>Develop requirements and lead recruiting, hiring, training and<br \/>staffing of MOUSE Training Specialists<br \/>Collaborate to refine and develop MOUSE Squad&#8217;s UnPlugged<br \/>Programming<br \/>\u00a1\u00b4 \u00a1\u00b4<br \/>\u00a1\u00b4 \u00a1\u00b4 \u00a1\u00b4<br \/>\u00a1\u00b4 \u00a1\u00b4<br \/>\u00a1\u00b4 \u00a1\u00b4<br \/>\u00a1\u00b4 \u00a1\u00b4 \u00a1\u00b4 \u00a1\u00b4<br \/>\u00a1\u00b4 \u00a1\u00b4 \u00a1\u00b4 \u00a1\u00b4<br \/>MOUSE Corps Programming<br \/>Lead the design and implementation of MOUSE Corps &#8220;Pathways&#8221;<br \/>programming, including the following:<br \/>Develop and manage the pathways program calendar<br \/>Establish and maintain program-related partnerships to support<br \/>shadowships, internships, and other Pathways programming<br \/>Design and deliver in-person workshops for Pathways<br \/>Programming<br \/>Develop and manage the MOUSE Corps Mentors program<br \/>Program Operations &amp; Partnership<br \/>Support the development of MOUSE&#8217;s Client Relationship<br \/>Management system (CRM)<br \/>Develop and maintain relationships with program partners in<br \/>NYC and beyond (NYCDOE, BTOP, corporate, nonprofits, etc.)<br \/>Participate in national educator training and orientation (in-<br \/>person and online)<br \/>Manage implementation of evaluation\/reporting systems and<br \/>tools<br \/>Additional Qualifications:<br \/>\u00a1\u00b4\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Four-year college degree plus 3-5 years of related experience.<br \/>\u00a1\u00b4\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0At least 2 years demonstrated experience in schools or in<br \/>supporting youth programs.<br \/>Extreme comfort\/savvy with computing technology and media.<br \/>Training and\/or teaching experience.<br \/>Strong attention to detail.<br \/>Strong self-management skills\/ability to work both<br \/>independently and on a team.<br \/>Experience managing staff and vollunteers.<br \/>\u00a1\u00b4<br \/>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.<br \/>Flexible, high energy and works well under pressure and enjoys<br \/>a fast-paced environment.<br \/>Great sense of humor.<br \/>Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.<br \/>Experience working with students, teachers, and school<br \/>administration.<br \/>Ability and interest in conducting site visits in NYC and nationally<br \/>(some travel required).<br \/>Demonstrated experience supporting youth development or<br \/>other learning programs.<br \/>Passion for empowering youth through new technologies.<br \/>Comfort working in a NYC public school setting.<br \/>\u00a1\u00b4 \u00a1\u00b4<br \/>\u00a1\u00b4 \u00a1\u00b4 \u00a1\u00b4<br \/>\u00a1\u00b4 \u00a1\u00b4<br \/>\u00a1\u00b4 \u00a1\u00b4<br \/>\u00a1\u00b4 \u00a1\u00b4 \u00a1\u00b4 \u00a1\u00b4 \u00a1\u00b4<br \/>Preferred Skills (One or more of the following is a plus):<br \/>Experience working with underserved communities<br \/>Experience in NYC public schools<br \/>Event planning and management experience<br \/>Proven experience thriving in a non-profit environment<br \/>Experience creating digital media<br \/>Salary: High 40s, commensurate with experience and salary history.<br \/>MOUSE provides an excellent benefits package, including paid<br \/>vacation, health and dental insurance, 403B, and Flexible Spending<br \/>accounts.<br \/>While MOUSE is a small organization&#8211;we make every effort to expose<br \/>all staff to opportunities across the organization and (where possible)<br \/>find opportunities for promotion within the organization.<br \/>To Apply: Please send:<br \/>1) Resume<br \/>2) Cover Letter: please include a story about a positive change you&#8217;ve<br \/>made in your work, life or community.<br \/>Links to your portfolio, blog, or creative &amp; technical work are a plus!<br \/>Applications will be considered until the position is filled.
