Job Description:<\/b><\/p>\n
The Senior Producer supports Gamelab=
\n by leading and supporting the production of games and their associated proj=
\nect teams within an Agile (Scrum) framework. The Senior Producer has proven =
\nexperience delivering high quality commercial games and working with on-site=
\n teams of artists, designers, audio engineers, and programmers. He or =
\nshe will be responsible for managing multiple simultaneous projects. O=
\nther day-to-day responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
\nUnderstanding the lead game designer’s creative vision for the game=
\n and driving the team towards fulfillment thereof Creating and main=
\ntaining production plans and related documents Facilitating effecti=
\nve communication and development within project teams
\nInterfacing between project teams and upper management, clients, publis=
\nhers, and\/or other “external” partners. Managing, maintaining, and =
\nnegotiating internal and external expectations of project goals (design, pro=
\nduction quality, scope, market, timeline, etc.)
\nAdvocating for both short- and long-term project needs such as rapid it=
\neration, schedule or scope redefinitions, additional playtesting, localizati=
\non or ESRB considerations, etc. Strategically prioritizing feature =
\ndevelopment based on market considerations, team capacity, and risks
\nAnticipating and troubleshooting development risks, feature creep, and =
\nother development pitfalls, suggesting creative contingency plans as necessa=
\nry Triaging input from many parties and translating it into action =
\nitems
\nDelegating tasks as needed to associate producers, other team members, =
\nor other departments within Gamelab. <\/p>\n

\nrience and Skills:<\/b>
Ability to excel in the responsibilities o=
\nutlined above with little mentorship, training, or management.
\nCollege diploma or equivalent work experience Minimum of 2 yea=
\nrs in Producer role in digital content production (experience in game develo=
\npment is a plus) Attention to details is a must Ability to=
\n work collaboratively, multitask, and develop new skills as needed
\nFriendly but firm personality Articulate and concise writing a=
\nnd speaking skills Ability to communicate effectively with programm=
\ners, visual designers, game designers, and audio engineers Proficie=
\nncy with management programs like Word, Excel, Wiki, and SVN (Jira for issue=
\n tracking is a plus)
\nProfessional yet fun attitude Experience with Scrum is not req=
\nuired but is a huge plus. <\/p>\n
