JOB: <\/strong>E-Learning Development Specialist<\/strong><\/p>\n

Coler-Goldwater Specialty Hospital and Nursing Facility, a 2016 bed JCAHO accredited facility, which is part of New York City Health and Hospital Corporation, seeks a highly motivated self-starter with excellent communication skills for the position of E-Learning Development Specialist.\u00a0 This position works as part of a team of Organizational Development professionals in the design, development, and implementation of learning solutions, including online training, learning management system administration, traditional classroom delivery, website design, and other projects as needed.\u00a0 The E-Learning Development Specialist reports to the Director of Organizational and Staff Development.<\/p>\n

Desired Skills<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

Expertise using Dreamweaver, Flash8\/Flash CS3\/Flash CS4, HTML, Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, CSS, Adobe Illustrator, Captivate<\/p>\n

Understanding of Adult Learning principles and theories<\/p>\n

Programming skills for all e-learning standards and practices<\/p>\n

Instructional design and delivery skills<\/p>\n

Excellent technical writing skills<\/p>\n

Good visual design skills<\/p>\n

Capacity to work independently, but also collaboratively at times<\/p>\n

Proficiency in Visual Basic, mySQL, java script, PHP, Action Script, and Learning Management System Administration a plus<\/em><\/p>\n
