Social Media \/ Web C<\/strong>ommunications Intern<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Actors Fund is seeking an intern to assist the communications department with their marketing<\/strong><\/div>\n
and communications initiatives in three major areas:<\/strong><\/div>\n
1. Maintaining, posting content and gaining exposure for The Fund’s social media outlets (<\/strong>The Fund maintains social networking prof<\/strong>iles, including Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, <\/strong>YouTube and a WordPress bl.og.)<\/strong><\/div>\n
<\/strong>2. O<\/strong>rganizing The Fund=92s press\/ media library: our extensive library of press <\/strong>clippings, photo <\/strong>CDs, DVDs of events, etc. needs curator to organize for easy <\/strong>access to content. <\/strong><\/div>\n
3. Assistance in web content management for our main\u00a0website, and help with developing <\/strong>our Auction of 1,000 Stars microsite. <\/strong><\/div>\n

This i<\/strong>s an excellent opportunity for someone interested in web communications and <\/strong>marketing for <\/strong>non-profit. Seeking a highly-motivated person, energetic, brigh<\/strong>t and a team-player – willing to pitch <\/strong>in and help with everything from web \/<\/strong>social media content management, organize media library as <\/strong>well as office ad<\/strong>ministrative support.<\/strong><\/div>\n

Knowledge of Drupal or <\/strong>another CMS.<\/div>\n
Experience with Creative Suite (CS4 or 5) Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop,\u00a0Dreamweaver, Basic computer and typing skills helpful (including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.).<\/div>\n

The Actors Fund is seeking intern to assist with a high\u00a0volume of graphic design projects. The Fund <\/strong>produces an array of print and on<\/strong>line materials for their many programs and services, events and <\/strong>fundraising i<\/strong>nitiatives, including e-blasts, advertisements, invitations, journals\/progra<\/strong>ms, brochures, <\/strong>flyers, posters, newsletters, annual reports, cards and promot<\/strong>ional materials.<\/strong><\/div>\n
