This opportunity is for academic credit or paid opportunity if academic\u00a0credit cannot be received. The internship is ideal for students in computer\u00a0sciences and\/or\u00a0interactive telecommunications. Responsibilities will include assisting the web developer and\u00a0development team with programming of web sites and other electronic publications and\u00a0applications.<\/p>\n<div>The skills required are proficiency in the following:<\/div>\n<div>&#8211; \u00a0HTML (hand coding)<\/div>\n<div>&#8211; \u00a0CSS based layout<\/div>\n<div>&#8211; \u00a0JavaScript (basic ability to code)<\/div>\n<p>as well as basic to medium skills in the following:<\/p>\n<div>&#8211; \u00a0PHP 5.0+<\/div>\n<div>&#8211; \u00a0MySQL<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Other programs, such as Flash and ecommerce are a plus.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Ralph Appelbaum Associates are planners, designers, and producers of award-winning\u00a0museums, exhibitions, visitor centers, and educational environments.
