Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>include: teaching web and interaction design to undergraduates,<\/p>\n<p>developing the Design curriculum,<\/p>\n<p>serving on departmental and university committees, and continuing<\/p>\n<p>professional activity and\/or scholarly<\/p>\n<p>research.<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; MFA in Design or equivalent<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Minimum of three years teaching experience of interaction, web,<\/p>\n<p>experience, and motion design and<\/p>\n<p>related programming at the college level<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Demonstrated grounding in formal design principles, design processes<\/p>\n<p>and creative problem solving;<\/p>\n<p>knowledge of web\/interactive industry; expertise in creative programming<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Demonstrated interest in and knowledge of critical theory as it<\/p>\n<p>pertains to web design and interactivity.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Professional recognition, such as publication and awards, for web\/<\/p>\n<p>interactive work<\/p>\n<p>Rank: Assistant Professor\/Tenure Track<\/p>\n<p>Salary: Appropriate to rank and qualifications<\/p>\n<p>Starting Date: September 1, 2011<\/p>\n<p>Deadline: January 10, 2011<\/p>\n<p>Please provide a PDF containing 10 examples of work, 10 examples of<\/p>\n<p>student works, including brief<\/p>\n<p>captions.
