Hi everyone!<\/p>\n

I have bee=
\nn hard at work on a public sound art project funded by the Brooklyn Arts Cou=
\nncil, in which I will make several places in Red Hook, Brooklyn come alive t=
\nhrough mobile audio works.<\/p>\n

I’m looking for an intern to help me throu=
\ngh the rest of this month and then to help me staff a kiosk on Saturdays in =
\nAugust.<\/p>\n

The internship comes with a small stipend, and will give the =
\nright person some good experience doing publicity and prep work for a public=
\n art piece.<\/p>\n

If you know of anyone – students, friends, etc — who mig=
\nht be interested, please ask them to get in touch with me.<\/p>\n

Help create a city-funded public art pr=
\noject exploring Red Hook, Brooklyn through an experimental audio tour!
The ideal candidate will<\/p>\n

* be friendly, organized, punctual (crucia=
\nl!) and a self-starter
* have experience designing for web and print (pos=
\ntcards)
* have some familiarity with audio software
* be interested in=
\n sound art, public art, and\/or experimental music
* be familiar with (or =
\nwilling to explore) Red Hook
* be available every Saturday in August, no =
\nexceptions, plus several days in July (to be worked out)<\/p>\n

Lunch and a =
\nsmall stipend will be provided. Some work can be done from home (not the Sat=
\nurdays, though). I=92m hoping to find someone genuinely excited about this p=
\nroject.<\/p>\n
