Interactive Internship <\/strong>–<\/strong> UI<\/strong><\/p>\n

The User Interface Interactive Intern will work under the direction of the Senior Web Developer and will be directly involved in interactive initiatives in a brand management\/creative agency as they arise.\u00a0 This individual should possess a can-do attitude and be filled with a passion for learning, understanding, and tackling new technologies.\u00a0\u00a0 If you think Flash is tired and want to kick it with jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, this internship is for you.\u00a0 We want to develop your potential into innovative style, elevating websites into an art form.\u00a0 Internship has potential to lead to working relationship.<\/p>\n

Summary of Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

-Work closely with Designers to develop intuitive and successful interactive products\u2028-Collaborate with interactive department to maintain clean and dynamic code.\u2028-Design and implement cutting edge Web UI\u2028-Cross-browser QA<\/p>\n

Summary of Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n

-Basic Photoshop and Illustrator knowledge\u2028-HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, Javascript frameworks: jQuery, MooTools, Script.aculo.us<\/a> -Prior knowledge or Interest learning CANVAS, Django, RoR, WordPress hacking, Google Maps API,\u00a0Python, Video, Animation, App Development, Augmented Reality, MAX\/MSP\/Jitter, cv.jit, Processing, Arduino<\/p>\n

Internship Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n

The intern will work at least 15 hours per week during the current quarter\/semester, for a minimum of 150 hours. Those hours may be worked in any combination at the discretion of the intern and the supervisor.<\/p>\n

At the end of the internship, the intern will fill out a written evaluation of the program, and the intern’s supervisor will fill out a written evaluation of the intern’s abilities and progress. The supervisor can be used as a reference for future job search.<\/p>\n

Payment will be the items produced that the intern can put into their portfolio, as well as real-world work experience. Interns will also receive a stipend agreed upon based on time and skills.<\/p>\n
