\n> C-Lab is seeking applicants for its internship program at its New
\n> York office. The intern will work on Volume Magazine and other C-
\n> Lab projects, including videos, installations, graphics, and
\n> research. The intern will work closely with C-Lab’s staff in a
\n> collaborative work environment shared by architects, graphic
\n> designers, writers, and researchers. The intern should have
\n> knowledge of design and architecture, with strong interests and
\n> abilities in written and visual communication, and research. C-Lab
\n> is eager to work with interns who wish to develop these skills and
\n> pursue their interests in architectural journalism and media. The
\n> internship will be for the fall of 2008 (approximately September
\n> through January).

\n> research for C-Lab’s publication content in Volume Magazine and

\n> C-Lab, the Columbia Laboratory for Architectural Broadcasting, is
\n> an experimental research unit devoted to the development of new
\n> forms of communication in architecture, set up as a semi-autonomous
\n> think and action tank at the Graduate School of Architecture,
\n> Planning and Preservation of Columbia University.
\n>
\n> Since 2005, C-Lab has collaborated with Archis and AMO on Volume,
\n> an independent bimonthly for architecture to go beyond itself.
\n> Volume is a global idea platform to voice architecture anyway,
\n> anywhere, anytime, an instrument of cultural invention. It is
\n> dedicated to experimentation and the production of new forms of
\n> architectural discourse. Volume Magazine was founded in 2005 by
\n> Archis editor Ole Bouman, architect Rem Koolhaas, and Mark Wigley,
\n> Dean of the Columbia Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and
\n> Preservation.
